This roman blind is finished with a classic plain bottom edge, without any decorative details or a frill. at the bottom.
This roman blind can be fitted:
- on the wall (fitting accessories are included)
- onto a window frame (with special non-invasive window brackets that can be purchased here
- please note this blind is NOT suitable for fitting on the ceiling
In standard size blinds the cord control system is fitted on the right side of the blind. Made to measure option offers more flexibility as it allows a choice of a size of the blind, but also the mechanism (cord or cassette) and on which side it is fitted.
In the top fabric layer the dowels that create lovely folds when a blind is open are fitted every 25-30 cm. Patterns on fabrics are not matched across different blinds, so when ordering more than one blind to be fitted side by side, please note that the blinds may not be identical. Similarly, the dowels are distibuted evently across the blind, but they are not matched across blinds, so they may be at different intervals in blinds of various lengths.
In the bottom voile or organza layer the dowels are replaced with sheer tapes and strings attached to the back of the blind, which allows opening of the blind and locking it in position required in a way that is both aethetic and practical.. We offer a choice of white or ecru voile fabrics.
Please note that blinds wider than 130 cm may be made out of more than one piece of fabric, but the patterns are matched, so the seam is virtually invisible and it does not affect the look of the finished product.
Please allow for a tolerance of +/- 2cm in the measurements of the product ordered and supplied. This is due to individual properties and widths of fabrics - with 700 fabric to choose from some variation is inevitable. For measuring instructions please refer to the Measuring Guide tab next to this section, check out our Blind Measuring Guide or contact us if you have any further questions.
