Installation and removal of a Roman blind with rod pocket (preparation for washing)
BLIND INSTALLATION
Hang the blind on a previously installed curtain pole. On the appropriate side of the blind, attach to the wall, using the supplied screws, either safety hook A designed for winding up the entire loose cord (recommended) or ring B for wrapping the lifting cord around it to secure the blind in position.
BLIND REMOVAL (PREPARATION FOR WASHING)
- Remove the blind from the curtain pole.
- Firmly pull the cords out of the end connectors (acorns) C, leaving the knots in place.
- Remove the horizontal support rods (straws) D and the bottom bar E.
- Detach the metal rail F from the blind (it is attached with hook-and-loop tape) and slide it out of the side loops G.
- Wash the fabric only, following the care instructions shown on the label.
OUR TIP: Before unthreading the blind cords, take photos of the cord arrangement. This will help you rethread the cords correctly after washing.
