Installation and removal of a Roman blind with rod pocket (preparation for washing)

BLIND INSTALLATION

Hang the blind on a previously installed curtain pole. On the appropriate side of the blind, attach to the wall, using the supplied screws, either safety hook A designed for winding up the entire loose cord (recommended) or ring B for wrapping the lifting cord around it to secure the blind in position.

BLIND REMOVAL (PREPARATION FOR WASHING)

  1. Remove the blind from the curtain pole.
  2. Firmly pull the cords out of the end connectors (acorns) C, leaving the knots in place.
  3. Remove the horizontal support rods (straws) D and the bottom bar E.
  4. Detach the metal rail F from the blind (it is attached with hook-and-loop tape) and slide it out of the side loops G.
  5. Wash the fabric only, following the care instructions shown on the label.

OUR TIP: Before unthreading the blind cords, take photos of the cord arrangement. This will help you rethread the cords correctly after washing.
