Installation of a Roman blind on an aluminium rail on a wall or ceiling

BLIND INSTALLATION

1. Mounting the blind brackets

Using the supplied screws or wall plugs, attach the plastic brackets (from 2 to 5 depending on the blind width) to the wall (fig. A) or ceiling (fig. B) at the same height and equal spacing, taking into account the position of additional components on the rail (locking mechanism and cord guides).

Note! When fully raised, the blind occupies approximately 20 cm to 40 cm in height (depending on the blind model and length). This should be considered when choosing the bracket mounting position to ensure that the raised blind does not interfere with opening the window.

2. Attaching the rail with the blind to the brackets

The rail with the blind should be installed from above, pressing the lower edge until a distinct click is heard (fig. C).

3. Installing the safety hook

Attach the safety hook to the wall on the appropriate side of the window at a convenient height using two screws (not included with the blind). The cord should be wrapped around the hook without leaving any loose hanging section (fig. D).

BLIND OPERATION

1. Raising the blind (E)

Pull the side cord to raise the blind.

2. Locking (F)

After slightly and slowly releasing the cord, the blind will lock automatically.

3. Unlocking (G)

To lower the blind, gently pull the cord away from the wall and towards yourself.

4. Lowering the blind (H)

After releasing the brake mechanism, gradually release the cord to lower the blind.

BLIND REMOVAL

To detach the rail with the blind from the bracket, press the lever underneath the blind bracket and gently tilt the rail towards yourself from the bottom (fig. I).

WASHING THE BLIND

The blind can be detached from the rail (it is attached with hook-and-loop tape) after unthreading the cords. The stiffening elements (plastic straws or rods) should be carefully removed from their channels. In the case of metal rods, it may be necessary to carefully unpick the stitching closing the channel.
