Measuring a Roman blind with tabs (Roma)

To determine the correct blind dimensions:

  • blind width – add at least 5 cm to each side of the window recess width, depending on the curtain pole length,
  • blind length – provide the total blind length (before tying up) and assume that the bamboo rod is positioned halfway down the blind and that the valance measures approximately 30 cm after tying.

Example: if you want a finished tied-up blind length of 100 cm (including the valance), you should order a blind with a length of (100 cm - 30 cm) x 2 = 140 cm.

The blind cannot be raised.

a = window recess width

b = 1/2 height

c = bamboo rod
