PVC curtain track installation

  1. Preliminary information
    The PVC ceiling track is intended exclusively for ceiling installation. The product is available in two versions:
    * single ceiling track,
    * double ceiling track.

    Before starting the installation, check that all components are included:
    * ceiling track,
    * through bends / end bends (if applicable),
    * connectors (if several tracks are installed),
    * end caps,
    * masking plugs for mounting holes,
    * elements for hanging curtains/drapes: clips, hooks and stoppers (standard or butterfly type),
    * masking strip (if applicable).
    Note: Screws and wall plugs are not included in the set – they must be selected according to the type of ceiling (concrete, plasterboard, etc.).

  2. Test fitting and marking the holes
    Place the track against the ceiling at the planned installation location. Make sure it is aligned evenly and positioned at the correct distance from the wall, taking into account protruding elements (e.g. radiators, window sills). Then mark the positions of the mounting holes in the track with a pencil.

  3. Connecting several tracks (if applicable)
    After installing the first rail, use the dedicated connector. Then install the next rail.

  4. Checking the installation direction
    Before drilling, make sure the track is oriented correctly. A visible line/groove should be located at the front, onto which a masking strip can optionally be mounted.

  5. Drilling the holes
    Drill holes in the previously marked locations. Insert suitable wall plugs appropriate for the type of ceiling.

  6. Mounting the track to the ceiling
    Fix the track to the ceiling using screws, ensuring stable and level installation.

  7. Inserting fabric hanging elements
    Insert into the track channel the elements on which the curtains/drapes will be hung – depending on the selected system and needs: clips or hooks. If necessary, install the selected stoppers.
    The elements can be inserted:
    * before fixing the track,
    * or after installation, if the construction allows it.

  8. Installing the end caps
    Install the end caps on both ends of the track to prevent the elements from sliding out of the channel.

  9. Masking the mounting holes
    Press the masking plugs into the holes where the screws are located – this will improve the visual appearance of the installation.

  10. Installing the masking strip (optional)
    If a masking strip is provided, install it by clipping it onto the front edge of the track.
