These versatile made to measure curtains are perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, nurseries and home offices. Whether you're looking to create a shabby chic or country look, traditional style or modern loft interior, with around 700 fabrics to choose.

Most fabrics on Dekoria.co.uk are 130 cm wide, curtains wider that this will be two (or more, only if required) pieces of fabric joined together in an aesthetic manner, which does not affect the quality of the product.

Important: Curtains are available to purchase in singles so if you would like to buy a pair, please make sure you change the quantity to 2 units.

The width you order is the width before gathering. For measuring instructions please refer to the Measuring Guide tab next to this section or contact us if you have any further questions.

Products made of fabrics have a tolerance of +/- 1 cm in length and width. The possible error margine is due to the fabric features.

In a pencil pleat curtain the fabric is gathered into pleats with a 7 cm wide curtain tape.

The tape is fitted at the top of the curtain (at the back) and it has 2 rows of pockets to chose from and to place hooks in while hanging the curtain.

The bottom of the curtain is hemmed. The width of the hem depends on the drop of the curtain:

- for curtains up to 200 cm long the width of the hem is 5 cm
- for curtains over 200 cm long the width of the hem is 10 cm

The bottom of the curtains is also finished with weights in the bottom corners of the curtain, to improve the hang and keep the curtain in position (does not apply to curtains sewn from the Velvet collection).

In their case, the finishing touch is a lead sewn in at the bottom of the curtain, which allows the fabric to drape beautifully.

The hem on the sides of the curtain is 2 cm wide.

Width: Please note the curtain width is the width before gathering.
When you choose the width of pencil pleat curtain remember, that the width of the fabric will significantly reduce with gathering.

Therefore, it is recommended to measure the length of the curtain rod and add approx. 80% -100% depending on how intensely the curtain will be gathered.

The width can be adjusted with the strings at the back of the curtain, thus allowing some flexibility in the final look.

Drop: For pencil pleat curtains the drop is measured from the pole or track to the window sill or the floor.

The drop can be adjusted by 1cm to 2,5 cm with the choice of either the upper or the lower row at the back of the curtain, thus allowing some flexibility in the final look.
