Roman blind Capri - Made to measure
In the case of a made-to-measure Roman blind, there is a choice:
- mechanism - in addition to the cord mechanism, a cassette mechanism with a bead system is also available, particularly recommended for larger and heavier blinds.
- the string or bead assembly side on the right or left.
Product dimensions are subject to a tolerance of +/- 1 cm in length and width, which is due to the characteristics of the material.
MOUNTING
The Roman blind is suitable for mounting
- to the ceiling
- on the wall
- non-invasively on the window frame - with the purchase of special brackets
The necessary accessories for mounting on the wall or ceiling are included in the set (apart from holders for non-invasive mounting on the window frame!).
The blinds are mounted using plastic brackets. An aluminium rail is pressed onto these brackets with a click.
The fabric is attached to the rail with Velcro tape, which makes it easy to remove, e.g. for washing.
The blind is single sided, i.e. the pattern on the blind is only on one side.
MECHANISMS
Roman blinds ordered to size have a choice of three mechanisms for adjusting the blind height, i.e. for raising and lowering:
- string - a simple and inexpensive adjustment mechanism. The Roman blind is pulled up by pulling the string on the side of the blind. The mechanism has a self-locking system, i.e. raising or lowering the blind automatically stops it at a given height.
Cord colour - white or black.
The cord mechanism is recommended for light, small Roman blinds.
- Beaded (cassette) mechanism - comfortable and aesthetically pleasing regulating mechanism. The Roman blind is pulled up by pulling the bead (closed system) located on the side of the blind. Setting the desired height of the Roman blind is fast, convenient and precise.
Choice of bead colour: white, brown, graphite, silver (colour refers to the bead only, not to the rail and lifting system at the back of the Roman blind).
The beaded (cassette) mechanism is recommended for heavier, larger and intensively used roller blinds. For larger roller blinds, a cassette mechanism with a free gear is installed.
- electric - a modern system of operating Roman blinds, enabling their automatic raising and lowering. Thanks to the electric mechanism, your Roman blinds can be controlled with a remote control - which ensures comfort and ease of use (the choice of remote control can be made in the Roman blind configurator or purchased additionally - you can choose a 1-channel remote control or a 15-channel remote control). Blind can also be controlled using the Brel Home application (for this purpose, the Brel Home HUB-01 module should be purchased additionally in the blind configurator or separately).
Thanks to Brel Home, the mechanism can be integrated with intelligent home systems, which allows for the automation of operation depending on the user's preferences, taking care of precise regulation of lighting in the rooms. Thanks to additional functions, such as operating schedules, it is a comprehensive solution for comfort and safety in use.
It is important to connect the electric motor hidden inside the cassette with the remote control and/or the module before mounting the blind to the wall/window/ceiling, as access to the motor will be difficult once it is mounted.
The electric motor of the Roman blind is charged by means of a charger. The electric blind motor has a cable (standard on the right side of the blind), which needs to be connected to the charger. The length of the charger cable is 3m. It takes approx. 1h to fully charge the motor. A fully charged motor lasts approx. 1.5 months.
FACILITIES/PLACEMENTS
Every approx. 25-30 cm there are channels with plastic stiffening straws. They are located at the front of the Roman blind, with the exception of Cotton Panama and Blackout.
- in this case they are on the left side of the blind.
When ordering Roman blinds to be hung next to each other please take into account that with different lengths, the canals (stiffening bar stitches) will not be at the same height unless you state this on the order form.
The cords are pulled at the back of the blind through plastic grommets (rings).
When the blind is pulled up, decorative folds/overlaps approximately 15cm high are created.
There is no lower frill so the Roman blind takes up less space when pulled up and is suitable for low interiors.
BLIND FIT
The fabric pattern on the Roman blind is unmatched, which means that Roman blinds sewn with patterned fabric will not be identical.
In the case of Roman blinds with different heights, the spacing of the channels (through which the stiffening rod passes) is different. - It is possible to match the spacing of the channels on several blinds at the customer's request (this is important in the case of blinds hanging in one room).
When ordering Roman blinds wider than 130 cm made of 140 cm wide fabrics, please take into account that they will have sewn-in sides, which does not, however, affect the aesthetic look of the blind.
