Blind Measuring Guide
Blinds can usually be fitted either inside or outside the window recess, so when ordering a blind you need to decide where to fit it and to take measurements accordingly.
Sometimes the blind can only be fitted outside the recess, this is when:
- The window opens inwards
- The window is not fitted in straight (varying by more than 1.5 cm on either side), which happens in particular in older buildings
- The recess is too shallow - usually less than 10 cm deep
